COVID-crazy vs. COVID-clarity

COVID-19 has been the ugliest b!tch and the most magnificent blessing. It has, no doubt, been one of the most challenging seasons for me personally, but has also brought the most clarity and calm that I have ever experienced.

My COVID-crazy:

  1. All the Z’s under one roof 24/7

  2. Trying to cut back on work, be a full-time mom and a part-time kindergarten teacher

  3. V-frickin-learning with an ADHD 5 year old that hated school

  4. Trying to occupy (and not neglect) a 3 year old while teaching a 5 year old

  5. Dealing with depression with no time to deal with depression

My COVID-clarity:

  1. Realizing that my son possibly needs medication and more in-person help (thank you OT!)

  2. Running continues to be the perfect escape for my physical, mental and emotional well being

  3. New understanding that it was time to leave my position and pursue my writing passion

  4. Allowing space in my mind and heart, making room for my new purpose: my book

  5. Opening the writing door wide, allowing my blog and my business to follow

I have no doubt that COVID-19 has a purpose for each of us. For me, it was to turn my crazy into clarity.
